Hmm...it�s been a couple days, hasn�t it? Where to start? Oh, how about my slightly red shoulders. I went downtown today to sit in front of the art gallery and write out an album review. I�m almost done, I just have to type it up nicely now and fill in the �If you like this, try these� section where I put down what other albums this one sounds like. I hate doing that. Well, I think I hate it because I find comparing bands hard. KD told me to tell off my editor for making us do that, but I don�t think I will. I like writing for Ink Blot, even though I don�t do it very often. I�ll just have to get better at that whole comparison thing. But yeah, sat in the sun for a few hours. But the red will fade away by tomorrow (or even sooner, maybe). At least I�m not lobster-like. I should invest in some sunscreen. Nah, I�ll just steal some from home since I�m going for a visit. Yep, sounds good to me.

Woo hoo, I get to see the New Porns on Thursday. Another woo hoo: Sloan�s playing here at the end of July. How did I first find out? An email from Violet saying, "Yay, Sloan's playing with Static in Stereo." Not too informative, huh? I found the info at CFox's website. Good thing I remembered she listened to that station. Anyway, the bad part is that I have class that day, all day long. My LAST day, then �No more pencils, no more bo-o-oks� for a LONG time. Hopefully the festival doesn�t start too early so I can see most of the bands on the Saturday. Bands like Static in Stereo and Morning Maker, but the last one is probably just a dream because they�ll be the first ones up. It�s a 2-day event. Why couldn�t Sloan play on the Sunday? Hopefully it�s all-ages so Violet can go too. And less than $10. What a bargain!

My interview went all right yesterday. It seemed to go well, but I didn�t feel like myself and the interviewer really clicked. She seemed nice and apparently the President and VP are nice, well respected men in the community and industry. I would like to get the job, so I don�t have to keep looking or worse: run out of $$$. I should find out by Thursday at the latest.

Umm...on Sunday I was so bored being at home alone, so I grabbed my walkman and went for a really long walk. I went for about an hour, turned around, had a bite to eat at Denny�s (bad idea) and walked home. I returned just in time for Going Coastal. There was a big thing on Winnipeg bands. They showed The New Meanies and Projektor�s performances at NewMusicWest. That was cool, because I was at those shows. They could have done a little bit on Novillero.

Anyway....I go now.
