I haven�t written in a couple of days, but that�s the life of a college student during exams, with a roomie doing the same thing. Of course that means she gets the computer that�s hooked up to the Net because it�s her computer. Mine�s too slow...the modem is a 14 4! Yes, my computer is ancient. But it does have a TV in it, which is vital during play-offs!!

Anyway, I wrote my Archaeology final this morning. Eight in the morning is too early to be writing exams. It�s done though, and I�m done with that school. I have one more final in a couple of weeks at my other school. Funny thing, driving to school this morning, I had butterflies. I�ve never had those before tests. I did well on it, I know I did. I could have written more on the essay part, but I was running out of booklet. I got my paper back from that class. A 78, ugh. I should stop writing those at the last minute.

Actually, I don�t really enjoy writing papers, but I like doing the research, especially if the topic is interesting. Last year I wrote a paper about protecting intellectual property in the music industry. I started writing it about 2 days before it was due (it was a 20 page paper!), but I researched for months and reread my notes because I found them interesting. I got a pretty good mark on it, high 80s. And it had a damn fine titlepage: a picture of theDtheAtheNtheKtheO I took when his band opened for Sloan in Vancouver. Speaking of Sloan, I also interviewed Murph for the paper. Yes, I did have fun doing the research. =)

My hiatus is over! After about 9 months I got off my ass and started writing for Ink Blot again. Reviewed the New Pornographer�s album I did. It�s not very good though...not up to snuff I say. People will get a chance to read it in a couple weeks. I�ve written a couple other reviews if you want to check them out: Flashing Lights and Ani Difranco.

I am now officially a �working woman.� Starting tomorrow I work 9 to 5. All day I�ve had that theme song stuck in my head. But anyway, now I�ll be able to afford all the spending I do already. Oh joy of joys! No more dependence on plastic! =P AND no more starting work on Mondays at 8!

Well, I must go. Roomie needs the �puter for her studying.
