Do I remind you of a patient you forgot to see?

OK, kiddies, what day is it today? No Billy, it�s not International Hippo-Riding day. That�s right Shirley, it IS Flashing Lights Day!! (I don�t really know a Billy or a Shirley, but them names sure sound kool). I just realized why it being Flashing Lights Day is cool: I get to see some Gaven-tambourine action! Somebody�s gotta be jealous of that! =P I�m listening to Where the Change IS right now! Sadly the only FL album I own...so far! I�ll buy me-self another one tonight.

Today at work the fax machine/copier was being a bitch. My boss gave me some last minute things to fax out East, and it took forever. Probably because it was 5 PM on a Friday. Hmm...I don�t feel like work was very productive today. I looked through boxes to make sure that all the stuff we need for the hotel we are about to own is there, I faxed & photocopied, calculated stuff and sent the mail out. Oh yeah, and I flirted with the Greyhound Courier guy. So it was kinda productive. =P

Yesterday was so nice that I decided to wear some little strappy sandals barefoot. Early morning my feet were fine, but later on they hurt. So in the afternoon I walked around the office barefoot. At the end of the day I put my shoes back on and noticed I had yucky blisters on my feet. I was able to walk two painful blocks before I took my shoes off. I have wussy feet, so the bumpy pavement was hurting the soles of my feet, but I took a detour to follow the nice smooth sidewalk. When I got in front of the house my landlord asked if I liked to walk barefoot. I informed him that my shoes were killing my feet. Fortunately the rocks in front of the house didn�t hurt �em.

I talked to one of my friends on the island last night. I found out that she missed out on seeing the FL�s for $1! She was told about it, but then she forgot. Ha ha, silly girl. She�ll be coming over next month to see Mogwai with a couple of us and then Callexico the next night. Yep, I�m back to my concert hooring! And the New Pornographers are �coming� a couple weeks after that. Well I guess only a couple of the members have to travel to get here.

Ooh, ooh! And Sloan is supposed to be here at the end of the month to do some finishing stuff for their album that'll come out in 2015. I�ll be spending more time in the city, on �patrol,� if you will. =P
