Today I feel much better. I just have the occasional sniffle or cough. I phoned my mom today and she told me to rest and drink lots of fluids. Hee hee, my mom worries a lot about me since I�ve moved away for good. If I was still at home, she would probably have made me cut the grass or something. She misses me. =)

But I didn�t rest today. I was cleaning the suite. My landlord apparently got a good price for the house so now he�s selling it. When I first heard that I was mighty pissed off since I saw the �for sale� sign before anyone told me. Roomie told me that the realtor spoke to her and that our landlord didn�t tell us because he felt upset about it. So some people came today to check out the whole house. I decided to clean up because I didn�t want to be embarrassed due to a dirty place (The Specials are a good band to listen to when cleaning). Then the realtor phoned this afternoon saying that the people interested in buying wanted tenants like us living in the house. So then I decided to clean it up better than I was planning to. Hopefully I don�t have to move. I�ve done it too much over the past few years. My poor friends have to constantly scratch my address out of their books and put in a new one.

Woo hoo, my New Pornographers review is on the Ink Blot site. If you like it, I can�t take all of the credit. I told my editor/friend he could hack it all he wanted, because it was pretty much the worst review I�ve ever written. Ha, I wrote it during my finals last month. If you don�t like it.... well, it could have been worse.

Flashing Lights countdown: 5 more sleeps! Rock on. I don�t have Sweet Release yet, but I plan on buying it at the show. I�ll have to ask Matt when it will be released in the U.S. so I can review it. =)

Woo! I saw the Hash Pipe video today for the first time. Tres cool.

Yesterday I went to a matinee and saw Bridget Jones�s Diary...AGAIN. A friend is visiting and she hadn�t seen the movie yet, so Roomie and I decided that was a good enough reason to go again. I�m definitely buying that when it�s released on video. *Sigh* I want a Mr. Darcy of my own. If anyone knows one, send him my way. =P Heck if anyone knows Colin Firth, you can send him my way too. =P It�s raining men, hallelujah, hallelujah. If only it did.

After the movie, we had dinner at the food court in the mall. Then we decided to go for a walk in a park nearby. It was this marshy parkland. There were a whole bunch of colourful birds around. The trees and fields were nice, and the lake was a clear blue. There was an observation tower so we climbed up it and took a look at the whole park and all the foothills beyond it. I wouldn�t have thought anything like that would have been smack in the middle of a big city. It was so green, and it smelled very green too.

After the park we walked to this tea house and got a �bubble tea.� Actually I guess mine would have been a �bubble juice� since I got juice instead. They had these weird black round chewy things in them that I don�t know what they were. They tasted good though. I could have gotten coconut meat in my drink instead, which probably would have worked better since I picked pineapple juice. Maybe next time. Yummy. If anyone knows what the black stuff is, let me know. =)

Ooh, Simpson�s season finale coming up. Must watch. Going Coastal premieres today. I may check it out during the commercial breaks.
