Warning: This is a very long entry.

Today is Easter Monday. I wish I worked for the government so I could have had the day off, but alas I was working-girl today. Thats alright: I could always use the extra $$$. I went home and it was pretty good. Visited the family and a couple of friends and got no homework done. But I did finally see The Virgin Suicides. That was a wonderful movie. Out of all of my friends, I wanted to see it the most, but of course I was the last one to see it. My mom bought a cake to celebrate Easter/my b-day. Im all caked out. =)

Being at home also gave me the chance to watch some hockey. Thats another way to not do homework. My Avs beat the familys Nucks. My mom threatened to spank me if I kept cheering for the wrong team. Too bad for her, shes not fast enough to catch me. =P

Hee hee, on the way home for the weekend, I was stuck in the holiday rush. There was nothing good on the radio so I just put my finger on the tune button to see what I could find. I managed to catch an island TV channel, so I listened to The Price is Right. (Did you know that Plumtree was in the audience on that show a while back?) Im pretty good at the show (even with the exchange rate), I should go and win me something. I predicted that the woman spinning the wheel was going to get 35 cents! And they had the showcase of my dreams!!! There was a wooden classic-style jukebox (*drool*), a living room set, a Berber rug and.......not one, but TWO motor scooters!!! Oh my gawd. The woman bid $9000-something. I said $13 000. It ended up being $13 000-something. *I* should have that showcase. But my favourite part of the show was when an army guy from Saganaw (cuz youre the grea-ee-a-ay-ee-a-ay-ee-a-ay-ee-a-eatest won a trip to Toronto. Wow, what an exotic trip...and so *far* away from where he lives! =P

I just dropped off my best friend at the airport. She has to go back to London to testify at a court case. The funny thing is, the defence wants her to testify but the info she has will her the man more than help him. Shell be back in a few days, hopefully. Her flight leaves in less than an hour. Shes not looking forward to flying by herself. A fan of flying she is not.

Oh, but I found out some interesting information from her. Theres this girl who we used to be friends with, Ill call her OH. We were friends with her back in high school until there was a weird falling-out/division of friendship. Anyway, I just found out from best bud (BB from now on) that a friend of ours told BB that the last time OH and I were together in the same group, she freaked out. We cant believe that after about 6 years, she still would be acting like this. I try to be civil to her. I say hi to her, but thats about it. Hmm...the last time we were in the same group, it was at the live recording of Radiosonic at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver. Geez, I had just as much right being there than her, maybe even more so. My roommate was going (whos good friends with OH), my other best friend from the island came over so I had to see her, and Im a rabid Radiosonic fan whos a borderline David Wisdom stalker. =P

Anyway, I dont understand why she freaked out then. I would understand about the Beck concert. It was the summer before my roommate and I moved in together and the two of them were going to the Beck concert (though I didnt know until I was there). Since I was there alone, I tagged along and stood with them, but it wasnt like I was standing beside her, my future roomie and roomies brother were between us. Anyway, I would understand her freaking out about that more than the Radiosonic day. Geez, there was a group of us then even. BB thinks shes quite petty for still acting this way. I agree. But I guess I have revealed my own pettiness by putting this thing in my diary.
