: : : 2001-06-12 : : : 4:20 p.m. : : : Its such a lovely day outside. I got to go out in it for a bit, but even though the weather is sunny, it is still a bit cold. Well it was in my skirt and sleeveless top. I went downtown and dropped off my resume at a couple of temp agencies. I went to the one I usually go to when I dont have a job, but when they do phone to let me know about a job, its usually too late. They did it last summer after I bought my plane ticket to Europe and earlier this year I got a call after I got my last job. But the recruiter said that there is a position a bit of a ways away. She asked if that was good or bad. I told her it depends on the job. She didnt get to go into it with me because the office was crazy with companies phoning, so she should be calling me later today or tomorrow morning. The other agency I went to as a backup, since I usually get called too late from the other. I wish my life were exciting so people would have a lot of good stuff to read here. Last night I happened to notice on the TV listings that Naked Chef was going to be on. Since I hadnt watched the show in a long time (because I never remember when its on) I went into my bedroom and turned the computer/TV on. I got excited at the end of the show because they were playing Dodgys Good Enough. A good summertime song I say. My roommate yelled from the kitchen, Is that Dodgy I hear? Yep. I was dancing in my room to it. Its a good thing no one can see what Im doing in my room from the rest of the suite, because I was dancing rather silly. Hmm...Someone give me a reason to go back to the touristy area of downtown. =P You don't need to bother, mind =) PS Omigod!! I just surfed to their site and it seems they have gotten back together! Coolness! =) : : :The Rockin Kids: : :Rings: : :Notes: : : |
