Whoa. I haven�t been here for a bit. So much catching up to do!! Catching up on other diaries...letting you know what�s been happening here, etc. Hmmm...I only had 2 hours of sleep last night. I had a big 3000 word report due this morning. So I went to bed at 3 am last night/this morning after finishing my wonderful 2000 word paper. Ugh. I hate having to wake up at 6:30 on a Saturday just to go to school. At least I only had to do one presentation today. So...if this entry doesn�t totally flow, it�s because my cognitive abilities aren�t totally up to snuff.

Well, you know what rocks?? I got a CD sampler on Friday from Matador Records (Ole!) just for signing up to their mailing list. It came with a sticker. Ah lak stikas. The CD is really good. I quite like �I Wanna Destroy You� by The Soft Boys. Kinda reminds me of Marcus Said. The CD also has a really great tune by Khan, with vocals provided by a Mr. Jon Spencer of the Blooooooooooooz Explooooooooooooowsion. So yeah, fun times.

Last weekend I watched a bit of Going Coastal because the MuchWest part was about NewMusicWest. I saw Nardwuar�s chest. I am scarred for life! =P

Oh, KD, you are a pasta-head, you noodle-brain!! =P At least I don�t need to USE sunless tanner. Ha Ha. And by the way...today I smell like Karma, thanks to Lush. Mmmm, yummy smelling soap. And ya better behave, or I�ll make sure you NEVER get a chance to steal Patrick from dear tonesy again! Ya got that? (PS, that other stuff is ol� Port Al to a T).

What else. Oh, you know what�s cool? People who stop for me when I want to cross the street. That is cool. You know what�s not cool? People who nearly run me over when I�m crossing the street. Damn wimmin drivers.

Ooh, ooh!! On Wednesday I�m going to see Mogwai. It�s a brand new experience for me. I�ve only heard one song by them (on my sampler) and it�s pretty good. Bardo Pond is opening for them. I�ve heard a few of their songs. Then on Thursday I�m going to see Calexico. THEN, on the 21st...dat-da da DAH, I�m seeing The New Pornographers. Woo. And hopefully my friend/editor can pull a couple strings so I can see this other band that�s playing...whoa 3 days after NP. I can�t afford all the shows I want to go to, especially this one cuz it�s pretty expensive. But I�m not going to say who yet, because I don�t want to jinx anything.

Hmmm...I think that�s enough writing for today. Oh, if you want to read some interesting political ranting, go here. Ranting about politics is cool.
